1.5-way limited slip differential with carbon discs- vehicles with Type 915 transmission 911(78-86)

Our 1.5-way limited slip differential equipped with a carbon disc is suitable for the following vehicles that are equipped with a Type 915 transmission:

      Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

The so-called 1.5-way limited slip differential locks both wheels fully on acceleration but only partially in the event of traction loss as the vehicle is decelerating. This allows for increased stability and vehicle control while driving under poor road conditions.

The replacement of the standard metal discs by carbon ones in the limited slip differential allows for savings in weight and longer component life.
