Cleaning and nourishing kit for classic car leather

This leather cleaning and nourishing kit is specially formulated for older leather upholstery, where the leather has been fouled and badly weathered; after testing this product we have been surprised and particularly satisfied with the results.

In the example illustrated in the pictures below, the leather seats from this 911 3.2 L Cabriolet had been attacked by mold and had been subject to a chronic lack of maintenance for years. The leather in this vehicle had been fouled and grimed by the use of general purpose cleaners that were not adapted for it. It had also been dried out by salt accumulated from sweat from the driver’s back.

After having sprayed the driver’s side with the cleaning soap in the kit, we vigorously brushed the seat surfaces, and then wiped the soap off with absorbing paper. In fact, the final result will depend on how thoroughly the leather surfaces are cleaned at this stage; you must proceed with circular movements of the brush and treat medium-sized surfaces only to ensure no area is left untreated by the brushing.

After it is wiped off, leather recovers its original color…. Original stitching resurfaces, as well as original patterns of the leather. Leather recovers its original hue and its texture.

Last step to finish off the cleansing and nourishing process: apply the protecting cream with the soft cloth supplied in the kit.
