* For the following naturally-aspirated Porsche 924’s from the 1981 year-model onwards, use the cold start valve reference 924.020060:

The cold start valve supplies additional fuel to the engine when starting before the engine has reached its normal operating temperature. A defective cold start valve will be translated into difficult starting and right idling when the engine is cold.

When replacing the cold start valve in your vehicle, do install a new O-ring reference 911.020062B for the cold start valve flange.
