Crankcase thrust collar, 996/997 (02-12) + Boxster/Cayman S (06-08) + 997 Turbo (10-12)

Our crankcase thrust collar with diameter 63 mm. has two different uses in the Porsche parts program.

1. This half-collar is used as a crankcase end thrust washer on the following vehicles:

     Porsche 996 Carrera 2 3.6 L (2002-2005)

     Porsche 996 Carrera 4 3.6 L (2002-2005)

     Porsche 996 Carrera 4S 3.6 L (2002-2005)

     Porsche 997 Carrera Coupé / Cabrio 3.6 L (2005)

     Porsche 997 Carrera Coupé S / Cabrio S 3.8 L (2005)

     Porsche 997 Carrera 2/4 Coupé / Cabrio 3.6 L (2006-2008)

     Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Targa 3.6 L (2007-2008)

     Porsche 997 Carrera 2/4 Coupé S / Cabrio S 3.8 L (2006-2008)

     Porsche 997 Carrera 2/4 Coupé S / Cabrio S Kit X51 with increased power 3.8 L (2007-2008)

     Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Targa S 3.8 L (2007-2008)

     Porsche 987 Boxster S 3.4 L (2007-2008)

     Porsche 987 Boxster S Spyder 3.4 L (2008)

     Porsche 987C Cayman S 3.4 L (2006-2008)

In this application this crankcase thrust collar is placed at the end of the crankcase on the pulley side.

In this application this half-collar is placed on the engine crankcase in a central position halfway between the flywheel and the crankshaft pulley ends.
