Engine and transmission rubber/ metal support mount 912 (66-69)

Our square rubber and metal pad serves both as an engine and a transmission support mount on the following vehicles:

    Porsche 912 1.6 L (1966-1969)

1. As an engine support mount, this rubber mount is bolted between the engine support beam and the engine plate. 6 of these engine support mounts are bolted to the engine beam.

2. As a transmission support mount, this mount is bolted to the transmission support beam. 2 of these transmission support mounts are bolted to the transmission support beam. These mounts are suitable for 4 and 5 speed transmissions.

It is very important to double check on the condition of the engine and transmission support mounts on your Porsche 912. Original support mounts are most certainly cracked and worn. Worn support mounts allow for excessive movement of the whole drivetrain during acceleration and make shifting gears clumsy or even difficult.
