This non-reinforced gas strut is suitable for vehicles whose decklids do not have to support the added weight of heavier accessories such as a large rear spoiler or a 3rd Stop Light.
Worn-out engine decklid gas struts will not easily support the weight of the engine lid and will not allow the latter to remain raised without a risk of sudden collapse and closing.
Quantity required per vehicle: 1.
