When you take down a component of your exhaust system or when you replace the M8 x 40 mm. exhaust bolts on your Porsche 911, verify the good condition (and replace if necessary) the following parts:

911.010472A : M8 exhaust locknut, 911 (75-89)

When taking apart any component of your exhaust system we also recommend that you replace all associated gaskets in order to ensure a leak-proof setup. Please check that you have handy a sufficient supply of these gaskets:

911.010485: Heat exhanger side gasket 911 (75-89) + 964 Turbo + 993
