Exhaust muffler gasket, 911 Turbo (75-94)

Our exhaust muffler gasket is suitable for use in the following Turbocharged vehicles :

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 L Type 930 (1975-1977)

Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera (USA-CAN) 3.0 L (1975-1977)

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 L Type 930 (1978-1989)

Porsche 964 Turbo 3.3 L (1991-1992)                        

         Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 L Type 965 (1993-1994)

This exhaust muffler gasket with reinforced metallic edges provides the leak-proof junction between the Turbocharger exhaust flange and the rear exhaust muffler.  In between those two components the turbocharger mounting bracket is located. Hence two of these exhaust muffler gaskets are required: a gasket is located between the turbocharger exhaust flange and the turbocharger mounting bracket (reference 911.010487A3) and  a second gasket is placed between the turbocharger support bracket and the rear exhaust muffler flange.  

We recommend that you replace the exhaust muffler gaskets every time you take down one of the components of your exhaust system. This will ensure that the exhaust system remains leak-proof, thus helping the engine run better by avoiding backfires and possible carbon monoxide leaks into the engine compartment and passenger cabin heating system.
