Fender antenna with chrome base, 912 (65-69) + 911 (65-73)

Our front fender Hirschmann telescopic manual antenna with a chromed base is fitted as original Porsche equipment on the following vehicles :

From 1974 onwards to 1977, Porsche featured 2 trim levels for the antennas : an electrically activated antenna was standard, but there remained as an option a manual telescopic antenna with a black base in line with the vehicle’s black trim.

Our Hisrchmann telescopic antenna with a chromed base can therefore be adapted to the 911 Coupé, Targa and Turbo from 1974 to 1977 (if a difference in antenna colour is acceptable) on the vehicles below:

From the year model 1978 onwards, electrical antennas became mainstream on the Porsche 911, and integrated antennas in the windshield appeared afterwards. Hence adapting our telescopic antennas to vehicles after 1977 is complex, and requires modifications in the antenna cable length, antenna positioning, and modifications to the fender.  Our antenna is also adaptable to the 356 B, C, Carrera and SC, but drilling of the fender may be required.  

 Antenna features :

Hirschmann manual telescopic antenna with chromed and swiveling base from 0 to 38°. Base length 250 mm (9.8 inches), antenna length 850 mm. (33.4 inches). It is supplied with antenna cable, cord cover and locking key.

Warning: For vehicles other than 911’s or 912’s from 1965-73, the installation of this antenna may require modification of the antenna cable lenght, mounting base, and / or vehicle fender.
