Fiber insulation spacer for mechanical fuel pump, 356 B (1963 with late pump) 356 C (64-65) + 912

Our fiber insulating spacer for the «late-style» mechanical fuel pump is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models:

    Porsche 356 B with “late” fuel pump type (1963) *

    Porsche 356 C / SC (1964-1965)

    Porsche 912 1.6 L (1966-1969)

Notes:

* This fiber spacer is used in the Porsche 356 B from the following engine numbers onwards which are equipped with the late-style fuel pump reference 912.020001:

- 356 B 1600 Coupé / Cabrio 1.6 L 44 kw / 60 HP. from engine number M 611001 onwards (1963)

- 356 B 1600 S Coupé / Cabrio 1.6 L Super 55 kw / 75 HP. from engine number M 706001 onwards (1963)

- 356 B 1600 Super 90 1.6 L 66 kw / 90 HP. from engine number M 807001 onwards (1963)

The fiber spacer is placed between the fuel pump and the engine block to insulate the fuel pump from the heat of the engine block.
