For the Porsche 911 and 912 this reverse gear flat
needle cage bearing is used on vehicles with 4 or 5-speed Type 901/902 and 915
transmissions as well as on vehicles with Sportomatic Type 925 3 or 4-speed transmissions.
For the Porsche 912E this bearing is
used on Type 923 5-speed transmissions.
This reverse gear flat needle cage bearing is not used
on turbocharged 911’s.
This reverse gear flat needle cage bearing is located on
the main transmission shaft next to the reverse gear.
