Fork guide on 3rd to 4th speed gear shift rod for Type 915 transmissions, 911 (72-86)

Our fork guide on the 3rd to 4th speed gear shift rod is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models that are equipped with a Type 915 4 or 5-speed transmission:

    Porsche 911 E / S 2.4 L (1972-1973)

    Porsche 911 T-V / T-E / T-K 2.4 L (1972-1973)

    Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1973-1975)

    Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1977)

    Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1977)

    Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976-1977)

    Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

    Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

This guide is bolted to the 3rd to 4th gear shift rod. It serves to move the gear shift rod thus actuating the 3rd to 4th shift fork when these gears are engaged.

This gear shift rod guide is not used on the Sportomatic or Turbo versions of the above vehicles.
