Fuel pressure accumulator (2 connections) 924 (76-78)

Our fuel pressure accumulator with two connections is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models:

     Porsche 924 (1976-1978) ⁽¹⁾

Notes:

⁽¹⁾ 924 1976-1978 up to chassis Number F 92483 9999 (1978). From year-model 1979 onwards, use fuel pressure regulator 924.020015.

The fuel pressure regulators are placed near the fuel filter. Their function is to hold pressure in the fuel system for easier restart when the vehicle is hot. If your K-Jetronic vehicle is having trouble starting when warm, this could be caused by a faulty fuel accumulator. If the accumulators cannot properly keep the fuel system pressurized, then the fuel injectors will not be able to adequately inject fuel into the cylinders.
