Fuel pressure accumulator (2 connections) 924 (79-85) + 924 Turbo / GT (79-84)

Our fuel pressure accumulator with two connections is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models:

Notes:

⁽¹⁾ 924 from chassis Number F 92491 00001 onwards (1979). For earlier model 924’s, use fuel pressure regulator 924.020014.

⁽²⁾ 924 Turbo and 924 GT from chassis F 92494 00051 (1979) onwards.

The fuel pressure regulator is placed near the fuel filter. Its function is to hold pressure in the fuel system for easier restart when the vehicle is hot. If your K-Jetronic vehicle is having trouble starting when warm, this could be caused by a faulty fuel accumulator. If the accumulator cannot properly keep the fuel system pressurized, then the fuel injectors will not be able to adequately inject fuel into the cylinders.
