Fuel pressure damper, 911 Carrera 3.2 L (84-89) + 928 S (83-86)

Our fuel pressure damper is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models equipped with the L-Jetronic fuel injection system:

    Porsche 928 S (1985-1986) *

    Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1989)

    Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1989)

    Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Speedster (1989)

The fuel pressure damper is placed at the «intake» side of the left fuel rail (Porsche 928) or at the «intake» side of the right fuel rail (Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L) opposite the fuel pressure regulator. It serves to dampen the changes in fuel pressure that are induced by the fuel pump and the sequential opening and closing of the injectors.

Quantities required per vehicle:

928 S: 1 at the «in» end of the left fuel rail.

911 Carrera3.2 L : 1 at the «in» end of the right fuel rail.

In vehicles equipped with the L-Jetronic fuel injection system, this fuel pressure damper works together with the fuel pressure regulator reference 911.020018.
