One of these heat exchanger gaskets is placed between the right-side heat exchanger and the crossover pipe. The other gasket is placed between the left-side heat exchanger and the intermediate exhaust silencer or between the left-side heat exchanger and the catalytic converter (for vehicles that are so equipped).
