Half clamp, wastegate pipe to exhaust muffler intake pipe, 911 Turbo (75-82)

Our half clamp is suitable for use in the following vehicles:

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 L Type 930 (1975-1977)                              

Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera 3.0 L Type 930 (USA-CAN) (1976-1977)

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 L Type 930 (1978-1982)           

This half clamp is used to fasten the flange of the wastegate pipe to the flange of the smaller exhaust muffler intake pipe.

For 911 Turbo’s (Type 930) from  1983 onwards, the wastegate exhaust pipe is no longer linked to the exhaust muffler with 2 half-clamps, but is vented directly to the outside air. The wastegate exhaust pipe reference 911.010465S (911 Turbo’s from 1975 to 1982) is replaced by wastegate pipe reference 911.010465S1 for Porsche 930 models from 1983 onwards, thus rendering the clamp halves unnecessary.

During the replacement of the clamp halves between the wastegate pipe and the exhaust muffler pipe for your 930 Turbo, you will need the following components as well:

911.010489A: Crush washer, wastegate pipe to exhaust muffler pipe, 911 Turbo (75-82)

911.010488B: Crush gasket, wastegate pipe to exhaust muffler pipe, 911 Turbo (75-82) + 944 Turbo/Turbo S (85-91)

911.010489C: Exhaust clamp locknut, M6, 911/911 Turbo (75-83) + 944 Turbo

911.010489B: Exhaust clamp bolt, M6 x 40 mm., 911 (75-83) + 911 Turbo
