Handheld battery charger with cigarette lighter adapter 2nd model

All vehicles which are not driven on a regular basis can have their battery charge depleted. This is especially true of newer vehicles with electronic components which draw continuously on battery power, even if the motor is turned off.

Our 12 Volt handheld battery charger and tender (updated model) has been specially designed for your Porsche. This battery charger, equipped with an auto-off function and a trickle charger function, will check and maintain the battery charge at an optimum level, and can remain indefinitely plugged into your vehicle.

To recharge your battery, you need not raise you Porsche's hood. Simply plug in the charger socket into an electrical outlet and insert the connector in the dashboard cigarette lighter. The charge light remains on when your battery is being recharged and goes off automatically when the latter reaches its optimal charging state.

For vehicles that are not equipped with a cigarette lighter or vehicles whose cigarette lighter is wired to the terminal number 15, an adapter is required to allow a direct hook-up to the battery terminals.

The charging current can be set to two different levels on the battery charger; therefore the latter can also be used to charge small 12 Volt batteries.

This battery charger and tender is built for European specification vehicles (input 220-230 VAC). A separate plug adapter may be required depending on the country of use.
