Only Australia and Japan versions of the Porsche 928 S from 1983 to 1986 are equipped with an in-tank secondary fuel pump.  For the Porsche 928 from 1987 to 1991, only models with option code M460 are equipped with a secondary in-tank pump.

When replacing or inspecting your in-tank fuel pump, use a new pump seal reference  911.020064E1.
