M4 x 26 cotter pin for transmission castellated nut and 5th/reverse gear shift rod 911 (72-86)

Our M26 x 4 mm. cotter pin has several uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. This cotter pin is used as a cotter pin for the castellated nut at the short end of the main transmission shaft in the following vehicles that are equipped with a Type 915 manual transmission:

      Porsche 911 E / 911 S 2.4 L (1972-1973) *

      Porsche 911 T-V / 911 T-E / 911 T-K 2.4 L (1972-1973) *

      Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1973-1975) *

      Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1977) *

      Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1977) *

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976-1977) *

      Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1986)

Notes:

* This cotter pin is used in vehicles with 4 or 5-speed transmissions.

In this application this cotter pin secures the castellated nut at the short end of the transmission main shaft.

2. This cotter pin is used as a cotter pin to secure the transmission shift fork rod for the 5^th and / or reverse gears in the following vehicles:
