This is a high performance 100% synthetic lubricant specifically designed for powerful and recent cars fitted with large displacement engines, either gasoline-powered or powered by direct injection turbo Diesel, and equipped with catalytic converters.

This product features numerous car maker approvals, which makes it especially recommended for vehicles still under warranty.

Approval Standard: Porsche A40 for Porsche 996 + Boxster (approx. 9 L required)

The Porsche A40 standard requires extreme high shear resistance from the lubricant. This specification applies to all PORSCHE engines, except Cayenne V6 and Diesel versions (for these specific engines, use an approved Porsche C30 lubricant such as MOTUL 8100 X-clean+ 5W-30).

Whereas all conventional lubricants lose some of their viscosity under the effects of temperature and use and therefore cannot maintain a stable lubricating film, one of the properties of MOTUL 100% synthetic motor oil is to be formulated with “non-destructible” components that remain stable even under the combined effects of high temperatures and pressures. The components of MOTUL motor oil retain their viscosity in spite of great physical constraints. This means that MOTUL synthetic oils provide continued and uniform protection throughout their service life.

Moreover, resistance to high pressures and temperatures without a loss of viscosity translates into better lubrication and greater heat dissipation in all of the engine’s moving parts.
