Mounting clip for upper door strip 911/911 Turbo (65-98) + 912 + 959 + rear fender upper strip 914

Our trim strip mounting clip has two separate uses in the Porsche parts program:

1. This clip is used as a mounting clip for the left and right outer window trim in the following vehicles in their respective Coupé, Targa and Cabriolet configurations:

In this application this mounting clip is used to secure (together with the trim seals) the chromed or black outer door trim that is located on the upper outer door panel next to the window slots.

Quantity required per vehicle in this application: 14 (7 per door).

2. This mounting clip is also used to fasten the trim on the upper rear fenders that secures the roof pillar lining behind the side windows of the following vehicles:

Quantity required per vehicle in this application: 8 (4 per rear fender).

The pointed end of this V-shaped mounting clip is inserted through the fender or door sheet metal. The clip ends protrude through the sheet metal panels and secure the trim from its bottom channel.
