This copper oil pressure relief cap sealing ring (of dimensions 18 x 24 mm.) can also be installed in older Porsche vehicles, as a retrofit or replacement for the factory-installed original overpressure discharge valve sealing ring. This sealing ring then, can also be used on the following vehicles:

 

         Porsche 911 (1965-1973)

         Porsche 911 S with Engine Type 910/10 (1969-1971)

         Porsche 914-6 (1970-1972)

 

In “Flat-6” engines, two of these overpressure relief cap sealing rings are required per vehicle. Additionally, a third of these sealing rings is required on 910/10 Type engines, equipped with an auxiliary oil cooling system (Porsche 911 S from 1969 to 1971). A single sealing ring is required for the Porsche 997 GT3.
