Piston ring set, 84 mm. (1.5/2/5 mm.) 911 2.2 T (70-71) for Schmidt pistons

Our piston ring set for 1 piston is used on the following vehicles :

Porsche 911 T 2.2 L (1970-1971)*

Porsche 911 E 2.2 L (1970-1971)*

* Some Porsches 911 T and 911 E wit the Type 911 2.2 L engine were marketed in late 1969 as a 1970.

This 3-piece piston ring set is suitable for the following engine types :

- Porsche 911 T : Engines Type 911.03, 911.06 (Sportomatic) with Schmidt pistons, - 2.2 L and 92 Kw  (125 horsepower) 

- Porsche 911 T: Engines Type 911.07, 911.08 (Sportomatic) with Schmidt pistons,- 2.2 L and 92 Kw (125 horsepower)

Piston ring diameter : 84 mm.

Ring thickness :       Scraper ring, (compression), groove 1 : 1.5 mm.                                       Scraper ring, (compression), groove 2 : 2 mm.   

         Oil Ring (lubrication), groove 3 : 5 mm (Schmidt piston).

The lubrication oil ring is coil spring-loaded along its perimeter and has 2 symmetrical bevelled edges.

6 of these piston rings sets are required per vehicle.
