Our piston ring set for 1 piston is used on the following vehicles :

Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 L (1973)

Developed from the 2.7 L Porsche 911 Carrera RS with a Type 911.83 engine, (1075 Kg in its Touring version, 2687 cm3 engine, 154 Kw, 209 Hp), the 2.8 L Porsche 911 RSR with a Type 911.72 engine (vehicle weight 840 Kg, 2806 cm3 motor, 230 Kw, 308 Hp) was built in by Porsche in 1973 to comply with the European GT Championship Type 4 Rules. A total of 49 2.8 L Porsche 911 RSR’s were factory-built in 1973.

Following the Porsche 911 RSR’s string of legendary victories in the championship circuit against its much heavier and more powerful rivals (Ferrari 4.4 L, Di Tomaso, Chevrolet Corvette 7.0 L) a great number of engine conversion projects from 2.7 L to the 2.8 RSR Type 911.72 standard have been undertaken.

- This 3-piece piston ring set is suitable for the following engine types :

Engine Type 911.72 B6 - 2.8 L and 230 Kw (308 HP) (Porsche 911 RSR)

Engines with special 2.8 L piston and cylinders installed on a Type 911.83 2.7 L engine case.

Piston ring diameter : 92 mm.

6 of these piston rings sets are required per vehicle.
