Rear engine compartment tray 356 B T-5 (59-61) + 356 B T-6 (61-63)

Our rear engine compartment tray is used as factory equipment on the following vehicle models:

     Porsche 356 B T-5 (09/1959-08/1961)

     Porsche 356 B T-6 (09/1961-07/1963)

This metal tray or pan is placed horizontally in the rear of the engine bay just above the cylinder heads. This metal baffle isolates the engine bay from the hotter part of the engine and is essential to the proper cooling of the engine itself.

If you are replacing the rear engine compartment tray on your 356 B, it is good practice to inspect and also replace if necessary the seal for the engine cooling baffles reference 356.080127.
