Rectangular side-mirror Large Model, right side, (with base gasket) 911 (74-75)

Our rectangular right side-view mirror with a flat surface and chrome finish (Large Model) is suitable on the passenger’s side in the following vehicles:

This right side-view mirror complements on your Porsche our left side-view mirror reference 911.080170B.

Porsche only started installing side-view mirrors on the right-side of the 911 as an option in certain versions from 1974 onwards. Our right side-view mirror can be installed as an option to increase the safety of your vehicle while driving. From an aesthetic point of view, it also nicely complements the symmetry of your vehicle while giving it a sportier look.  

Our stainless steel rectangular side-view mirror with a flat face is a reproduction of the original steel Porsche part with a chrome finish that was installed on the left side of the vehicle.

Note: installation of our rectangular right side-view mirror reference 911.080170C is done on the passenger’s side of the vehicle (to the right).

To properly install this side mirror, it may be necessary to slightly offset the placement of the mirror on the right side in order to obtain the best possible field of view. Trial fit the side view mirror on the passenger’s side first before doing any drilling on the vehicle’s body.  You must also check that the installation of this side-view mirror on the right side of the vehicle will not interfere with the seal at the top of the passenger door (if applicable) but will still provide a good angle of vision.

Our rectangular stainless steel side-view mirror is supplied with its rubber mounting gasket.

Quantity recommended per vehicle: 1 on passenger’s side.

If your side view mirror(s) are in good shape but their rubber mounting gaskets are cracked or brittle, we can provide you with a replacement for the mirror rubber mounting seal under the following reference:

If your 911 is from the 1972 or 1973 year model, you must install the rectangular right side-view mirror (Smaller Model) available under the reference 911.080170A.
