Those engine decklid struts, somewhat stiffer than the original ones, are suitable for Turbo models, or for vehicles whose decklids have to support the added weight of heavier accessories such as a large rear spoiler, a 3rd Stop Light, or an A/C condenser.
Worn-out engine decklid gas struts will not easily support the weight of the engine lid and will not allow the latter to remain raised without a risk of sudden collapse and closing.
These reinforced decklid gas struts can also be installed on other 911’s as a replacement to the standard struts 911.080070.
Quantity required per vehicle: 2.
