This ornamental trim in polished aluminum is specific to the Targa versions of the 911 and 912. It is placed between the upper edge of the rear right fender and the Targa rear windshield.

Notes:

¹ This part is not used in the 911 and 912 Targa Soft Window (1967-1969)

² 911 Coupé’s and 911 Targa’s from 1974 to 1979 as well as the 911 Turbo’s from 1975 to 1979 can be factory fitted as an option with black trim instead of polished aluminum trim mouldings. If your 911 Targa from 1974 to 1979 is equipped with black trim, you will needthe right-side ornamental trim between the rear right fender and the rear Targa windshield in black aluminum, instead of polished aluminum. Please check with us if this is the case.
