Round side-view mirror with seal, 911 (68-71) + 912 (68-69)

The round side-view mirror with a convex face and chrome finish was originally fitted by Porsche on the driver’s side in the following vehicles: 

Porsche 911 2.0 L (1968)

Porsche 911 S 2.0 L (1968-1969)

Porsche 911 T 2.0 L (1968-1969)

Porsche 911 L 2.0 L (1968)

From 1972 onwards, round side-view mirrors were replaced by rectangular-shaped models, both manual and electric (the latter from 1976 onwards).

Our round side-view mirror with a chromed finish and a convex face (flat mirror surrounded by a protruding protective edge) is a stainless steel reproduction of the original Porsche part in steel with a chromed finish.

Note: installation of our round side-view mirror reference 911.080169 is done on the driver’s side of the vehicle (to the left); however, to improve on the appearance of your vehicle, mounting of this side-view mirror is also possible on the passenger’s side. To do so, it is necessary to offset the placement of the mirror on the right side somewhat, in order to obtain the best possible field of view. Trial fit the side view mirror on the passenger’s side first before doing any drilling on the vehicle’s body.  You must also check that the installation of this side-view mirror on the right side of the vehicle will not interfere with the seal at the top of the passenger door (if applicable) but will still provide a good angle of vision.

Our stainless steel round side-view mirror with a convex face is supplied with its rubber mounting gasket.

Quantity required per vehicle: 1 on driver’s side + 1 (as an option) on the passenger’s side.
