Safety circlip for clutch release lever assembly 911 (78-86)+camshaft belt guide rail/tensioner 928

Our metal safety circlip with dimensions 8 x 0.8 mm. has several uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. This circlip is used as a safety circlip for the installation of the clutch release lever pivot and helper spring bearings in the following vehicles that are equipped with a Type 915 gearbox:

      Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1986)

Notes:

In this application this circlip is mounted around the lower edge of the clutch lever pivot on the bottom side of the transmission clutch lever. It is used to secure the pivot bearings that are part of the spring-assisted clutch mechanism.

This part is not used on vehicles that are equipped with Sportomatic transmissions.

2. This circlip is used as a safety circlip to secure the timing belt guide rail in the following vehicles:

        Porsche 928 4.5 L (1978-1982)

3. This circlip is used as a safety circlip to secure the timing belt tensioning roller in the following vehicles:

       Porsche 928 S 4.7 L (1983-1986)

       Porsche 928 S45.0 L (1987-1991)

       Porsche 928 S4 CS Club-Sport 5.0 L (1988-1989)

       Porsche 928 GT 5.0 L (1989-1991)

       Porsche 928 GTS 5.4 L (1992-1995)

4. This circlip is used as a safety circlip to secure guide pulley for the accelerator Bowden in the following vehicles:

       Porsche 928 S45.0 L (1987-1991)

       Porsche 928 GTS 5.4 L (1992-1995)
