Our seal has two different uses in the engines of the
Porsche 356 and 912:
1. This seal is used as original equipment as a
cylinder head nut seal in the following vehicle models:
Porsche 356 (1950-1955)
Porsche 356 A
(1956-1959)
Porsche 356 B
(1959-1963)
Porsche 356 C / SC (1964-1965)
Porsche 912 1.6 L (1966-1969)
In this application this seal is used on the cylinder
head nuts that are thicker and have smaller heads.
Quantity required per vehicle in this application: 4 or
2 seals per cylinder head.
2. This seal is also used as original factory
equipment as the sealing ring for the
crankcase thin oil tube for the following vehicles whose 3-piece crankcase
is fitted with an oil tube:
Porsche 356 B (1959-1963) *
