Stainless steel heat exchanger, Left or Right, 911 Turbo (75-89)

Our polished stainless steel heat exchanger is suitable for the following vehicles:

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 L Type 930 (1975-1977)*

Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera (CAN) 3.0 L (1975-1977)**

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 L Type 930 (1978-1989)

* except for the 930 Turbo 3.0 L (Japan) from 75-77 equipped with thermal reactors.

** except for the 930 Turbo Carrera 3.0 L (USA) from 76-77 equipped with thermal reactors.

This heat exchanger is suitable for installation on the left side as well as on the right side of the vehicle. It is installed on all 930 Turbo except the Turbo Carrera and Turbo versions for the USA and Japan from 1975 to 1977.

Stainless steel has the best temperature and corrosion resistance, outlasting galvanized or mild steel alloys.

Heat exchangers recover heat from the exhaust system in order to provide warm air to the passenger compartment. It is important to verify that your heat exchangers are in good condition to avoid any cabin heat loss or worse still, any exhaust gases being leaked into the passenger compartment heating system.
