Steel exhaust muffler with dual exhaust pipes, 356 (50-55) + 356 A T-1- (56-57)

Our steel exhaust muffler with dual center exhaust pipes is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models:

     Porsche 356 Coupé / Cabrio /Speedster (1950-1955)

     Porsche 356 A Coupé with type T-1 body (1956-1957) ⁽¹⁾

     Porsche 356 A Cabrio with type T-1 body (1956-1957) ⁽²⁾

    Porsche 356 A Speedster with type T-1 body (1956-1957) ⁽³⁾

⁽¹⁾ 356 A Coupé with body type T-1 up to chassis Number F 101692 (1957)

⁽²⁾ 356 A Cabriolet with body type T-1 up to chassis Number F 150 000 (1957)

This exhaust muffler is suitable for 1100, 1300, 1500 and 1600 cc. engines.

Additionally, this exhaust muffler is adaptable to all 356’s after the vehicles above that are also equipped with the left and right-side heat exchangers reference 356.010451 and 356.010452.

To give your Porsche 356 A T-2, 356 B, 356 C or 356 SC a sporty look with this muffler, in addition to having the correct type of heat exchangers fitted  you will also have to modify the rear bumper valance to allow for the passage of the twin exhaust pipes and conceal the original exhaust pipe exit holes in the rear bumper guards.
