Steering damper, Koni, 356 A + B + C (56-65)

Our steering damper is used as factory equipment by Porsche on the following vehicles:

Porsche 356 A (1956-1959)

Porsche 356 B (1959-1963)

Porsche 356 C / SC (1964-1965)

This steering damper (which we feature under the Koni brand) was installed by Porsche beginning with the 356 A model. It dampens the steering wobble caused by uneven road conditions and steadies the steering response in performance driving. The steering damper is secured to the car chassis with a U clamp and is linked to the steering arm on the left side of the car.
