Steering wheel coupler 356 A (56-59) + 356 B (59-63)

Our steering coupler is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models:

    Porsche 356 A (1956-1959)

    Porsche 356 B (1959-1963)

This rubber steering coupler is fitted to the steering column to dampen vibrations through the steering wheel to your hands and allow a slight amount of flexiblity to the entire steering column, since the steering box is anchored solidly to the top torsion bar tube.

Overtime the rubber in the steering coupler dries out and becomes brittle, and excessive play develops in the steering column, making steering uncomfortable, and in severe cases, imprecise.
