Notes:

* This synchro ring is not used on the Porsche Porsche 993 Carrera RS 3.75 L M003 with the following transmission numbers: G5032 2 002001 >> 9 99999 (1995).

** Not used on vehicles with Tiptronic or PDK transmissions.

These synchronizer rings are placed between the 1st and 2^nd free gears on the secondary transmission shaft. Their purpose is to allow the free pinions from the 1^st and 2^nd gear sets to mesh without grinding. If grinding or difficult shifting is experienced when gears are changed, your synchro rings may be worn out.
