Our threaded screw plug has two different uses in the Porsche parts program.

1. This plug is used as a threaded plug for the oil overpressure piston and spring inside the engine crankcase in the following vehicles:

      Porsche 356 (1950-1955)*

      Porsche 356 A (1956-1959)*

      Porsche 356 B (1959-1963)

      Porsche 356 C / 356 SC (1964-1965)

      Porsche 911 2.0 L (1965-1968) **

      Porsche 911 S 2.0 L (1967-1969) **

      Porsche 911 T 2.0 L (1968-1969) **

      Porsche 911 TU / 911 L 2.0 L (1968) **

      Porsche 911 E 2.0 L (1969) **

      Porsche 912 1.6 L (1966-1969)

      Porsche 912 E 2.0 L (USA-CAN) (1976)

      Porsche 914-6 2.0 L (1970-1972) **

      Porsche 911 T / E / S 2.2 L (1970) **

      Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1977) ***

      Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1977) ***

      Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1974-1975) ***

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976-1977) ***

Notes:

* For vehicles with 1300, 1500 and 1600 cc engines. This threaded screw plug is not used on the Carrera versions of the Porsche 356.

** One plug is placed on the left engine crankcase half and another plug is located in the right engine crankcase half.

*** One plug is placed in the right engine crankcase half.

Quantities required per vehicle in this application:

- 356 + 356 A 1300/1500/1600 up to engine number M 68897 (1958) + 356 A 1300 S/1500 S/1600 S up to engine number M 81707 (1958): 1

- 356 A / B / C / SC 1600 from engine number M 68898 (1958) + 356 A 1600 S à from engine number M 81708 onwards (1958): 2

- 911/912 (65-70) + 914-6 (70-72): 2

- 911 / 911 Turbo (74-77): 1

2. This plug is used as a threaded screw cap for the oil overpressure piston and spring located inside the oil filter console in the following vehicles:

      Porsche 911 S 2.0 L (1969)

      Porsche 911 S 2.2 L (1970-1971)
