This air intake boot is placed between the vehicle’s throttle body and the mass airflow meter reference 911.020048A. Use screw clamp reference N911.020100B1 to secure the boot to the mass airflow meter.
If the throttle body air intake boot is cracked or damaged, the airflow into the air-fuel metering unit will be irregular. This will make the proper operation of the fuel injection system difficult and your engine’s performance will decrease. Ensure that your throttle body air intake boot is always clean and in good shape.
Caution:
For the 200 KW / 272 HP. Porsche 993 Carrera’s from 1994 to 1996, use the throttle body rubber air intake boot reference 911.020106.
