Transmission brake band 1st >2nd gear 911 (72-76) + 2nd gear 911 Turbo (-76) + 3rd>5th 928 (78-84)

Our transmission brake band has several uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 4 or 5-speed transmissions, this metal band is used as a transmission brake band for the 1^st + 2^nd gear:

      Porsche 911 E / 911 S 2.4 L (1972-1973)

      Porsche 911 T-V / 911 T-E / 911 T-K 2.4 L (1972-1973)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1973-1975)

      Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1976)

      Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1976)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976-1976)

Note:

In this application one brake band is intended for the free-wheeling gear of the 1st gear set and 2 brake bands are intended for the free-wheeling gear for the 2^nd gear set.

Quantity required per vehicle in this application: 3

2. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this metal band is used as a transmission brake band for the 2^nd gear:

      Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 L (1975-1976)

Note:

In this application 2 brake bands are intended for the free-wheeling gear for the 2^nd gear set.

Quantity required per vehicle in this application: 2

3. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this metal band is used as a transmission brake band for the 3^rd + 4^th + 5^th gear:

      Porsche 928 4.5 L (1978-1982)

      Porsche 928 S 4.7 L (1980-1984)

Note:

In this application 2 brake bands are intended for the free-wheeling gears for each of the 3^rd + 4th + 5th gear sets respectively.
