Transmission pinion shaft end locknut M42 x 1.25, 964 Carrera 4 (89-94)

Our transmission pinion shaft locknut is used as original equipment on the following vehicles that are fitted with a Type G64 5-speed manual transmission:

       Porsche 964 Carrera 4 3.6 L (1989-1994)

This locknut is placed in the terminal position at the tip of the transmission’s secondary (pinion) shaft. It is positioned against the washer located against the (large size) free-wheeling reverse gear. This locknut secures the gear sets on the secondary transmission shaft.
