Our transmission sliding sleeve (transmission slider) has several uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program. 

1. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this slider is used as a slider gear between the 2nd and 3rd gear as well as between the 4th and the 5th gear:

      Porsche 911 2.0 L (1965-1968)    
       
      Porsche 911 S 2.0 L (1967-1969)    
   
      Porsche 911 T 2.0 L (1968-1969)   

      Porsche 911 TU / 911 L 2.0 L (1968)

In this application a slider is placed between the free-wheeling gears for the 2nd and 3rd speed on the transmission’s secondary (pinion) shaft and another slider is placed between the free-wheeling gears for the 4th and the 5th speed on the transmission’s primary shaft.
   
Quantity required per vehicle in this application: 2

2. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this slider is used as a slider gear between the 3rd and 4th gear:
