Transmission stop block, 1st gear, 911 (77-86) + 2nd gear 911 (72-86) + 1st>5th gear 928 (-84)

Our transmission stop block has several uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 4 or 5-speed transmission, this stop block is used as a transmission stop block for the 2^nd gear:

     Porsche 911 E / 911 S 2.4 L (1972-1973)

     Porsche 911 T-V / 911 T-E / 911 T-K 2.4 L (1972-1973)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1973-1975)

     Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1977)

     Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1977)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976-1977)

     Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1986)

     Porsche 912 E 2.0 L (USA-CAN) (1976)

2. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual Type 915 transmission, this metal block is used as a transmission stop block for the 1^st gear:

     Porsche 911 2.7 L (1977) *

     Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1977) *

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1977) *

     Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1986)

3. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this metal block is used as a transmission stop block for the 1^st + 2^nd + 3^rd gear:

     Porsche 924 2.0 L with manual 5-speed transmissions (1978-1979)

     Porsche 924 Turbo 2.0 L (1979-1984)

     Porsche 924 Carrera GT 2.0 L (1981)

4. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this block is used as a transmission stop block for the 1^st + 2^nd + 3^rd + 4^th + 5^th gear:

     Porsche 928 4.5 L (1978-1982)

     Porsche 928 S 4.7 L (1980-1984)

Attention:

This transmission stop block is not used on the Porsche 911 Sportomatic or 911 Turbo, nor it is used on the Porsche 928’s equipped with automatic transmissions.
