Transmission synchronizer ring Ø 80 mm. 1st + 2nd gear 911 (72-76) + 2nd gear 911 (77-86)

Our transmission synchronizer ring with a diameter of 80 mm. has two different uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. This ring is used as a synchronizer ring for the 1^st + 2^nd gear in the following vehicle models that are equipped with manual 4 or 5-speed transmissions:

     Porsche 911 E / 911 S 2.4 L (1972-1973)

     Porsche 911 T-V / 911 T-E / 911 T-K 2.4 L (1972-1973)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1973-1975)

     Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1976)

     Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1976)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976)

     Porsche 912 E 2.0 L (USA-CAN) (1976)

Quantities required per vehicle in this application:

- 911 + 912 E with 5-speed transmissions: 2 (1 synchronizer ring for the 1^st and 2^nd gear)

- 911 + 912 with 4-speed transmissions: 4 (1 synchronizer ring for the 1^st and 2^nd gear)

2. This ring is used as a synchronizer ring for the 2^nd gear in the following vehicles:

     Porsche 911 2.7 L (1977) *

     Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1977) *

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1977) *

     Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

     Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1986)

Notes:

* This synchronizer ring is useable on vehicles with Type 915 manual 4 or 5-speed transmissions with or without power clutches.

This synchro ring is not useable on the Porsche 911 Turbo or on vehicles that are equipped with Sportomatic transmissions.
