The 2-way limited slip differential locks both wheels in the event of traction loss, as the vehicle is accelerating but also under deceleration. This allows for increased stability and vehicle control while driving under poor road conditions.

The replacement of the standard metal discs by carbon ones in the limited slip differential allows for savings in weight and longer component life.
